OH NO......HELP!!!!

This pattern has been in my family for generations. One small problem.....I've never done it.
My aunt made this for my dog Pebbles. (Yes, she thought she lost it at that moment). Pebbles pulled a thread during one of her scratching episodes.
Can it be saved? Or should I learn the pattern so I too can pass it on to future generations?????? Jeeves would know :)

Oh, I'm certain it can be saved with some swift grafting. It's too cute to just toss away.

It can be saved, but maybe after saving it you could learn the pattern too? It is gorgeous, it is a must pass down type of item.

You can do the kirchner stitch (like at the toe of a sock) and I think it will look pretty good.

Oh yeah! You have to do the Chevron Scarf! Defineitly it can be the "Two Sisters knit the Cheveon Scarf & that other chick tags-a-long KAL"

Love the pattern...it looks like dragonflys almost. Kitchener all the way and then some research for the pattern. Perhaps in a stitch dictionary...Barbara Walker has several out with lots of intricate stitches.

Oh you should try to save it if you can...it is too pretty to toss. But learn the pattern too....it is sure pretty enough to pass along as well!!!

Uh Oh...I am sure you can fix it, I would kirchner stitch it too. Oh and as far as shipping goes, for some reason I spaced (it happens!) so don't even worry about it! Glad you like them, I am still working on getting the pants for you.
